Inspiration!

This song was written by Lin Jun Jie, as a tribute to the China Sichuan Earthquake. A very touching song.

4 Days ago, there was a major earthquake that happens in Sichuan Province, China. A 7.8 magnitude earthquake i think.

Many many people were buried alive and died. The number of deaths are increasing sharply.

I'm quite shaken by this earthquake that killed almost 20,000 plus people living in Sichuan.

Few schools and hospital collapsed and students and patient were killed. Recently i'm always watching over the latest news of the earthquake on tvbs news. They would have the latest updates of the earthquake situation.

Few days ago, i saw this news coverage. A girl lost both of her parents during the earthquake and became an orphan. And there were lots of children whom both of their parents died. China Prime Minister Wen Jia Bao went down to Sichuan province. When PM Wen Jia Bao saw this little girl crying and crying, he comforted her and trying to stop her from crying. The girl was at a stadium where people stay there temporary. I was very touched by this scene.

温家宝：我应该把你们照顾好。 几年级？

小女孩：四年级。

温家宝：爸爸妈妈还在吗？

小女孩：不在了。（小女孩又开始落泪）

温家宝：别哭！政府会管你们的生活，管你们的学业，你们一定会像在自己家里一样。

小女孩：（点头，但伤心得说不出话来）

温家宝：这是一场灾难，你们还活着， 就要好好活着。

小女孩：（边哭边点头）

Wen Jia Bao is like a grandfather, caring so much about these orphans. I'm really so touched by this. It's really a disaster for an earthquake to happen.

Took away innocent lives of people.

Somehow i feel that we are so fortunate to be living in Singapore, safe from any tsunamis, cyclones and earthquakes. It must be our good karma in the past that allows us to be so fortunate in the present. We must be grateful and treasure everything around us, including your family members, your friends, and your loved ones.

Sichuan Earthquake incident had kind of shaken my excitement of going to Beijing with school for immersion program. I feel so sad lah.

What if something happens when we go there??? CHOY LAH!

With strong prayer and determination, our trip to Beijing will surely be a safety one. Ya.

Get back all my mid-year results le. Kinda not bad as compared to others. But i still need to improve. Many failed quite a number of subject, which i feel sad for them (not being sarcastic). How i hope everybody will do well for exam.. and that everybody will be happy.. DUN BE EMO EVERYBODY.. OK??

Two more exam to go... and that will be the end of the terrible mid-year examination! :)

This week was really a struggle... A series of exam that will kill me...

Today A maths paper killed me...

Wonder if i stil can pass all subject anot...

But no matter what, i must pass all subject.

I'm going to China during the june holidays! Woo! Never been to China before, moreover this time is immersion trip with school to Beijing, China!

Going  on 25 may to 2 june. quite excited about it but really need to prepare lots of stuffs. Wanted to bring my laptop to china too.. so that i can still use the internet... haha. use msn to contact with my parents at home. That's a good way!
